Nate Holt is from the small town of Mt. Vernon, IL. He and his newly wed wife, Elizabeth have lived in Peoria, IL since December of 2016 and are enjoying their time on staff with Campus Outreach. Nate serves Campus Outreach Central Illinois in the resource office as the resource director.
Nate was raised in an amazing Christian home where his parents preached Christ to him form a very young age. He would have told you his entire life that he became a Christian when he was 6 years old but if you would have seen his life from the age of 6 until he was 17 it would have been evident that Jesus was not the Lord of his life. When Nate was a senior in high school he was invited to a Bible study where what Jesus has done for us was proclaimed. Though he had heard that Christ had died for his sins a million times for whatever reason this time God came in and changed Nate's heart and showed him what it really meant that Jesus died for his life, and that his life was not reflecting that at all. Since then Nate has been walking and growing with the Lord, falling in love with His Word, praying and worshiping Him regularly, and telling others of the Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead.
It is Nate's vision to see the world reached for Christ. Campus Outreach's vision is to glorify God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world and he wants to be a part of that in any possible way he can.
